Chesapeake Bay Diving Center can show you the safe and fun way to enjoy snorkeling.  SSI's Snorkel Diver program is full of tips and advice to help make snorkeling easier and more fun.  Fun that the whole family can enjoy!

In the academic session, you will be introduced to snorkeling equipment including: the mask, fins, snorkel and boots.  Find out how to purchase, adjust and maintain snorkeling equipment.  You will also learn how to identify beautiful fish.

You pool session will double your pleasure by learning:

• Get into and out of the water safely

• How to move in the water with ease by learning at least 3 different fin kicks

• Safe descents and ascents

• Safe snorkeling with a buddy

• How to get water out of your mask

• How to clear water out of your snorkel in two different ways

Putting it all together means that you will learn how to stay relaxed, comfortable and above all, safe.
